Slovenian Environmental Day - May 9-10, 2009

Slovenian Environmental Day is a joint project between Slovenski Dom and Slovenska Telovadna Zveza. It is scheduled for the weekend of May 9-10, 2009. It takes place at Slovenia Trust and Planina Trust near Bancroft, Ontario. This is one weekend when young and old Slovenians plant trees and do environmental clean-up. This activity shows to the Canadian public that Slovenians care about the environment and contribute to environmental sustainability.
