Member Services Representative/Teller Supervisor (Full-time)

We are a full service financial institution with approximately $80 million in assets and 3,100 members. We provide financial services to our Slovenian-Canadian members across Ontario. We are committed to providing our members with a broad range of financial products and services coupled with unparalleled financial advice. We currently require a customer focused and results oriented individual to help us lead our service and sales efforts and supervise our member service representative/teller staff.
 
The Member Services Representative/Teller Supervisor is a “working” supervisor role. The position provides our members/customers with a wide range of financial services and products to meet their needs. Specifically, this role processes member transactions, responds to branch and telephone inquiries, identifies member’s financial needs, recommends suitable products, makes referrals for loans/mortgages and investments to other internal staff, and resolves problems with accounts. In addition the role supervises our other Member Service Representatives (MSRs) or Tellers.
 
 
We are seeking a “lead by example” supervisor who can help us implement our service and sales processes. As the ideal candidate, you have at least 3 years experience in the financial services industry in a similar Teller Supervisor role and at least 5 years experience as a Teller. You have a strong customer service and sales orientation and are comfortable in picking up the telephone to proactively call our members and discuss how we can help them. Your attention to detail and your team-focused leadership style will make you a strong member of our team. You have advanced computer skills (particularly with MS Word and Excel) and at least a grade 12 education (post secondary training is an asset).
 
Please note that the ability to speak Slovenian is an asset but is not essential for this role. The successful candidate must complete a full background check and be bondable.
