Slovenski Dom’s  2nd annual Potica Challenge was held two weeks before Easter, on Sunday March 29th, at 3:00pm at Dom Lipa, same place as the 1st Potica Challenge in November 2007. 
We are indebted to Dom Lipa's  Administration for allowing the use of their facilities and providing the coffee, tea and music. Thank you, especially, to Boguslawa Zelezinska , Dom Lipa Activities coordinator, or so actively and enthusiastically promoting this event to Dom Lipa's seniors and visitors.
The Slovenski Dom team that worked on this event were: Margaret Adamic and Majda Resnik (coordinators),  Frank Adamic, Oscar Koren and Robert Frankovic. 
Jeanette Zemlja, one of the coordinators of the first Potica Challenge who originally proposed the idea of a Bake-Off, returned to help us on the day of the event.
This year’s POTICA CHALLENGE was undoubtedly a success. We had at least double the number of visitors compared to last year, some returning but many more new guests. There were smiles everywhere. Everyone was a winner! … as Slovenski Dom continues to proudly support Slovenian culture, tradition and life!
